can amazon detect ip from recipient email

So here's the question:

Let's say you have two amazon accounts, different pc's different emails different everything totally ghost, however both primary emails for both accounts installed into one thunderbird/outlook program...
Do you think this gives amazon ability to detect your IP upon receiving emails at for either accounts on the same pc?

Please advise

Thank you

Re: can amazon detect ip from recipient email

Test it. Send an email to yourself and look at the email header, the IP address associated with the email is included. For example if you use gmail, you'll see Google's mail server IPs, same with Yahoo or any email service. The email starts from your device and is than routed to a 3rd party email server.. this is one of the reasons why we suggest GMail or other 3rd party email service providers.

If you're using thunderbird/outlook it can be configured in such a way that it's not routed through the email service provider so that's why I suggest testing it.

I am talking about if they email me to my accounts both are on thunderbird on one pc, would they be able to track from which IP I opened those emails? meaning both primary emails are installed on one pc in thunderbird however just for email purposes but I heard that there's a way for them to know or track which IP received and opened their emails.

What do you think

Yes, they can if you are turn on the "automatic download/display external images" or click on any link in the email
