How long will orders pend for on average?
 

I set up about 15 different items on my new account, 1 of each, and some guy bought 10 of them on the same day I listed the items.

It won't let me ship the items, but the quantity is 0 and it says I have 10 pending orders.

How long until I can ship these out?

a buyer purchasing an item doesn't mean its been sold. think of that as them adding it to their cart. wait for the sold ship now email from amazon. then and only then you should ship.

it could take minutes to hours to days, all depends on the buyer and their payment method.

A pending order should take 30 minutes. Amazon give buyers a 30 minute cooling off period so anything over that means there are problems.

The problem can be minor or it can be a result of your account being given a velocity review. Unfortunately sometimes there is a problem with the payment and an order can be pending for over a week until amazon cancel it.

Pending usually means they are trying to charge the buyer's credit card. For example, if you bought an item but the card doesn't have enough money on it, the order will show up as "pending" while Amazon emails the buyer and asks them to re-check their cc info. This will go on till the buyer enters in good info, cancels the order, or Amazon cancels it themselves after sending the buyer notice.

Don't ship until Amazon says to do so - really depends on their verification of the buyer's cc and such

You CAN NOT ship it because there is NO NAME or ADDRESS for pending order :)

I know right Tony, so funny haha! Amazon used to send emails regarding pending orders saying "do not ship". How the heck was I supposed to anyway, there is no address!
