Accessing Stealth Gmail on your cellphone...

Once I get my account up and running, is it safe to access my stealth gmail account on my cell phone, so I can be alerted to communication and orders?

What if, while I am at home, my cellphone is connected to my WIFI internet, which was used in an old suspended account.......

Any suggestions? I would love to have my stealth gmail on my phone, but not at the expense of my account.

Let me know if I need to clarify what I am trying to ask! Thanks again everyone!

no no and no. you cant reply to any of the email you get . you can only look at them. also when you have the gamil app on your cell you need to disable images and never and click on a page from ebay or paypal that says click here to see image. also i disable attachments and i never open them up. these are called tracking tool that ebay and paypal use to track you hope it helps bud.

with gmail amazon supposedly doesnt see your IP so its safe. thats how i have my accounts set up, all on one iPhone and reply to ALL messages from my phone without any issues for the last 4 years.

I don't see a problem with this. IP address does not matter with regards to gmail because gmail does not share your iP address with anyone even when you reply. As for images.. just make sure images are disabled. This will prevent Amazon from grabbing the IP address that is downloading the image as images are hosted at Amazon. If it were hosted on Gmail which I believe Gmail is starting to do (caching images).. images would load fine and it wouldn't be an issue.

This is interesting,

So just to clarify,

As long as images are turned off, It is safe to use the same iPhone to respond to emails for multiple accounts from a suspended IP because the recepient will always only receive the Google server IP and never your true IP ?

Does this apply to using a browser on the iPhone or the Gmail app ?

If it applies to the app - Wheres the option for turning off images ??

This is an incorrect statement. You can reply back to any email you receive within the GMail app and it will relay back to the ebay member.

There is no harm in doing so, as the originating IP address will not be seen in the Email Message header by eBay/Amazon/PP (only the IP of the Google Mail relay server will be seen).

Meta, yes. Ebay/PP/Amazon sees the IP address of the Google Mail relay server, not the originating IP.

It applies to both. I just replied to one of my customers through my GMail app.

Thanks for clarifying that Anonomous,

I was under the impression that mixing apps with stealth was a big no no.

I have turned off images in my Gmail account from the web browser but I can't seem to find any option for images in the app.

Is there an option for turning off images in the app or do the settings I have applied in the web browser follow over to the app ?

It follows over to the GMail app.

If for any reason you accidentally hit "accept images from this sender" when using the GMail app...you would then need to clear picture approvals within the App (it is located within General Settings).

I forward all my Gmail account mails to one master account. Problem is that the forwarding screws things up and sometimes images are revealed when I open in master account

Do you mean when you open the master account in a web browser or in the GMail app ?

I'm also forwading to a master GMail account but have not experienced that problem yet, I will have to do some testing.

I sometimes select "display images from this sender" when its not an email originating from Amz.

I had to refresh my web browser then the images stopped autoloading
