Are Buyers Phone Numbers Shown On Individual Or Only Pro Accounts ?
 

1. When signing up to an Amz EU individual account, Are buyers phone numbers shown along with shipping addresses or are they only shown if initially signing up to a professional account ?

2. How does the above apply to Amz.Com accounts ?

3. Are there any pitfalls to watch out for if signing up for individual and later changing to pro ?

Buyers phone numbers are never shown to sellers.

I have never seen a buyers phone number...

Pitfalls of individual to pro is that you have to pay the monthly subscription fee, but it is worth it if you sell over 40 items per month.

THere is no way to even pull their contact info on AZ is there like eBay?

On an EU account I used to have contact numbers displayed for DE/FR/SP and IT - Very handy to prevent things getting out of hand if an issue arises with an order.

In order to have them displayed, I'm wondering if the initial sign up has to be to a business account or I will still have them displayed if I start with individual and then switch to business account later.

with the .com account if there is an option to print FedEx label, there is the phone number there in the label. I don't know about UPS and never try

I have a Pro account and it always shows me the buyers phone number

That is strange, must be not like this in the UK.

I have shipped tens of thousands of items and never seen a phone number...

I can see phone numbers on all my USA and Eu accounts. These are pro accounts.

pro accounts that are started as pro accounts can see phone numbers yes. Also if you need to see phone numbers and u use 3party shipping software u can see phone numbers like that.

I remember reading about this on the forum ages ago.

So just to clarify, Does this mean that Pro accounts started as individual accounts do not show numbers ?

right metatrade. must be started as pro, upgraded accounts don't show it. unless amazon change again
