Appeal review

I recently created an Amazon ghost (New user, mac spoof, VPN) account on 7th August. I did not login into the account at all until today (13th).

So apparently while I was not logged on, I received a notification on the 9th stating that my account was under review, with the whole rolling-reserve thing. It said I could appeal. However there was another notification on the 11th with the same rolling-reserve thing and because of this second review which also allowed an appeal it removed the option to appeal for the review on the 9th.

From what I see around aspkin it appears that these reviews are quite normal, but since i'm relatively new to the ghost scene I was wondering:

1) Should I appeal the review? I don't plan on selling a huge amount on Amazon so I don't really have the details of what they're asking for. And on a side note, I think this may be because I put my selling plan to professional (1 month trial) rather than individual. Does professional or individual really matter though in the context of suspensions? My expected sales volume was only around 10 items a month - mainly because I wanted to keep a low profile and stay underneath the ~$750 velocity limit.

2) How much are these reserves usually? Is it a fixed percentage of your sale? Do you ever get rid of these reserves?

3) I remember that in my old seller account, I had no reviews at all, and no rolling reserves, until my suspension that is. Do these reviews happen to newer seller accounts?

I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Re: Appeal review

1) Don't appeal it - go with the flow - get positive feedback and keep your operations nice and smooth.

3) Not really a new concept - been in place since 2011 now

Re: Appeal review

the thing is usually its better not to review and keep it slow while the rolling review goes through. It usually lasts between 15 days to a month max.
But the new thing is ,as opposed to earlier where you would get a review and it would end in a month now they like your case where youre getting multiple notifications .You might get more rolling reviews after a few days.It would probably be best to ask customers for feedbacks. As my own experience when customer feedbacks started coming in the frequency of these reviews started getting lesser

are you just trying to age this account or something?

or do you plan to sell on it soon.
