Start Amz EU Stealth With Pro 1 Month Free Trial Account or Individual ?
 

When opening a new Amz stealth acount, Is it advisable to start with an EU pro 1 month free trial rather than an individual account ?

The idea would be to downgrade to individual before the end of the 1st month.

Pros and Cons ?

If you use a pro account they will ask for tax info. with individual account you have to earn over a certian amount first. I forget the amount but it is kinda high. so start with individual is what I reccomend!

Go with the pro account if you intend to be a serious seller.

If you follow Mickey H's advice be prepared with tax info. FYI You can't provide not real info. They send this info to the irs!

Why, when they are offering one month free and he would be saving on seller fees. If a seller is serious he needs to sell more than 40 or items a month....

I'd go for the Pro account..

I'm on Amazon with my genuine details and in the UK they don't ask for tax info. I've been on for 3 months now and not had the ID check yet so far either..

I started out straight away with a Pro account as I needed to adjust the postage costs, on the individual account you have to stick with the pre-set postage option, which is up to £3.99 in some cases, whereas I would be wanting to sell an item for £1.99 free P&P.

We are lucky in the UK in that they don't ask for that. (for stealth reasons, not for tax avoidance)

Am I right in thinking that in the USA everybody has to file a tax return? In the UK you only file a tax return if you are self employed, otherwise it gets taken from your wage automatically.

if you have regular employment it gets taken from your check & you have to file in the u.s.

I was just wondering whether in terms of stealth its riskier starting initially with Pro as opposed to individual - It appears there is no difference.

Good point about the ability to adjust the postage costs also buyers phone numbers with pro are important.
