Amazon Read Bank Info?
 

Hello - I just wanted to verify before fully engulfing myself into "stealth" mode that what I heard was true...is it true that Amazon doesn't make the link between you and your bank account? Like, even if I use my bank account (you have to, don't you?) to open my Amazon account, can it still be considered stealth, or do I have to do any funny business with trying to open account in someone else's name or something like that (which I'm not trying to do)?

Amazon cant see the bank account holders name from just the account number and sort code, and many banks accept mismatching names (search forum for recommended ones)

Yeah, but what if my real name is on the bank account and I don't opt to use a mismatch name? Like, if I just used my main bank account and my secondary account which are both have my real name - would that be a problem?

Welcome. There is no need to open a bank account in a different name, and not recommended at all. It will not matter to Amazon with regards to the name on the bank.

There are quite a few different banks which accept transfers. Which bank were you hoping to use?
