Competitor changes az.com listings to German and adds his phone number & email
 

This competitor uploaded hundreds of listings on az.com, replacing the bullets and descriptions with German language, and adding his contact details (phone and email).

I reported some of his listings 2 days ago, but so far nothing has happened. All the listings are still active and in German. What would you do? Report more, or just wait until things take their course? This is really hurting my sales, as most of my customers are from English speaking countries.

What exactly is your problem, you don't like competition? If your customers are English speaking why would German description be a problem, unless I am missing something.

I don't care even if the description is in Chinese. If the price is better and if the seller ship to my country (or to a German address only, I'll use a mail forwarding service, no problem), I'll buy from him.

So definitely he IS a problem for him. Not to mention the Chrome's auto-translation thing (maybe this is the thing that you're missing, as well as the 60% Global Usage of Chrome).

My problem is that this competitor is using listings I created in English language. He changed the listings, which are now in German, containing the competitor's contact details to drive traffic away from amazon.

Then why on earth did you not say that in the begining.

LOL, This is a typical "It's like Pulling Teeth", people need to start giving us the whole story instead of us having to drag it out of them! lol.

So these unique listing of yours, is this your own product which you own the intellectual copyrights to. If not then there is nothing you can do. Amazon within there T&C own all content listed on their sites.

Unless you have proof that the product is owned entirely by yourself...you are likely in a tough spot to win.
