spoofing mac address and router

Hi i have a talktalk wireless router. I know how to spoof my computers mac address and have done so.

does this mean i have to also spoof the router mac address

I am trying to spoof the routers mac address. Im having a hard time doing so, so may just have to buy a dongle if thats the case :s

Recent posts have shown that the MAC address is not essential to spoof
