Selling Cosmetics on new Ghost Account
 

On a current ghost account I have I'm able to sell cosmetics. I have had this account for a year with over 100 feedbacks.

I opened a new account about three months ago and have been selling electronics but went to list cosmetics and the category is blocked?

I requested to sell cosmetics through a Amazon request and they ask for a
ton of info to sell cosmetics?

Is this new? Do I have to have my account open for a much longer time to be able to sell cosmetics?

This is not new, amazon are now verifying seller are legitimate and not selling counterfeit goods especially as we are now moving into Q4

amazon changed the goal posts in the last 9 months.

New accounts are category barred unless amazon's requirements are met.

Amazon constantly changes category requirements - cosmetics is a heavy category for counterfeits so this is not new

I am running into the same thing but in grocery dept. I am not sure how long will I need to be selling other allowed items before I can actually sell groceries. Does anybody know if it is something you need to write a letter about in order to apply to be able to sell in that cat or is it simply a push of a button and their automated answer?

Groceries? local or ...more widespread?

Just generally candy etc. it has to be under grocery category.
