Hello,

I have been using an Amazon account as a buyer

Now I want to start selling on Amazon but I am considering 2 options:

- Upgrade my account o seller account

- Create another account to sell

Please advise

eh, if the buyer's account is in your real info, I would not upgrade.

Why? amazon is a different platform from ebay/etsy.

It's far stricter than they are and is a lot harder on sellers.

After you have done a heap of indepth reading consider a stealth account.

That's what I did.

In my opinion if your buyer account is quite aged and you have no problems then just upgrade to a seller account. THIS WAY YOU, you have no issues on logging in wrongly, creating false information etc. If and only if you get suspended then look at stealth. If you sell legit products and look after your metrics you will be good for ever....Just think on, most people on this forum run stealth as they have had there original account suspended. Like me

Here is the story

I am actually sharing a buyer account with my brother. He is the one who opened it but I use my credit card and shipping address to purchase stuffs
So Amazon does have my brother information as well as my information

I dont see why would be a problem if I open my own Amazon account for selling?
My brother account is still a buyer account

There should be no problem as long as your brother does not open a buying account also with all the same details. When you open the account I would use another credit card,preferably a Visa gift card, this will keep the accounts less similar and if you ever get into problems with amazon they cannot charge your card. Make sure you always keep $25 balance on the card.

if you know what u are doing then upgrade otherwise start out stealth and once u get the hang of amazon upgrade your buyer account so then u have two accounts.

OP is selling on other platforms.

Entire combo may not work.

Now he throws another party into his proposal, my advice stands.

Maybe I am missing something, where does he say he is selling on other platforms? I agree people don't tell the whole at first, comes bit by bit.

He has made OTHER posts in non-Amazon areas of here.

Those places exist too

I know amazon is your forte.

You mean there are other places to sell goods apart from amazon..... No I just read his post and there is no mention of other platforms.

Probably best to start operations away from your brother. Get the Ghost guide and make new stealth accounts. Amazon is a rougher platform than eb

I just want to sell on other platform using the my real information since Ebay and Amazon are 2 different PFs

i would recommend starting out as stealth....amazon sometimes suspends without any reasoning....even if you know the ins and outs of amazon and think you will not get suspended, think again.....just keep the amazon stealth away from your legit buyer account.
