Will amazon link me by my name??
 

Hi there,

I am just wondering if i get an EIN # in my own name with a different address will they use my name to link me to my old acc? I have heard that amazon won't link accounts based on name because different people have the same names sometimes.
I know I could just apply for a LLC and then get an EIN # with that.
But that will cost me about $450 and take 35 days to process...so i kind of dont want to have to do that unless it is really necessary.

Anybody have any thoughts on this?

Linking by name only will not happen. Name is only 1 of dozens of tracking methods Amazon uses.
