Orders earning bonus points
 

Does anyone know how this works. I understand the criteria set, but I have tried this out using royal mail first class recorded, and I didn't get any points.

I tried to Google it, and the list Amazon gives for accepted postal services doesn't have Royal Mail in it, but posters on the forums said it worked.

Could someone explain what I need to do to qualify. I know first class recorded isn't "tracked" properly, but it still states online that it was delivered and when.

I have been marking items are dispatched, and then later in the day adding the tracking number. Is this process wrong?

You are doing a good job. Amazon like to see the tracking information uploaded. Not sure if it makes a difference adding the tracking later on though...

I think there is a slight delay to getting the bonus points added to an account, as I myself use Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded and get bonus points coming in.

Thanks. I will continue to do it. How long do you usually get the points from when you dispatched?

Not sure of the exact time scale for the point being released.

It is also a strange thing, as I only use recorded post, but do not get bonus points on all of the items proven delivered. Points do not make that much difference in the end though.

Yeah, not too bothered. Was just wanting a few extra in case someone decides to leave to leave a negative for something lost in the post which is which is what my only negative is right now. I got a 2/5 for an item lost in post, even though replacement was received 24 hours later.. sad. Put item as described no and arrived on time no too even though they both were, some people are stupid.
