Does image size effect listing in searches.

OK so I've recently noticed I have a bunch of Amazon listing that only have 500 x 500 size images.

It's going to be quite a bit of work for me to go in and fix them all, before I do so can someone shed any light on weather or not the smaller image size is effecting my listings in the search result? Obviously if they are I'll fix them all.

Haven't seen this affect my listings (my volume load is not high though)
