How many months can I go without the correct tax info, before amazon suspends me?
 

Hi All,
I have input my correct tax info when amazon asks but they keep telling me I gave them the wrong info. I have done this 3 months in a row. Amazon keeps extending me 30 days every time I input my tax info. Will I keep receiving this automatic email saying I have 30 more days to input my tax info before they suspend my account, or can I keep trying to input my tax EIN info, and they will keep sending me this automatic stock email, which will keep my account active?

Says their laughable arbitrary silly system. I have a legitimate business and the IRS says my tax info is correct. Any helpful information on the issue would be appreciated.

No, apparently it doesn't match up EXACTLY with the IRS info or you picked the wrong type of corporation when doing the interview (my guess). You cannot pick sole proprietorship with this whole Amazon stealth with EIN if I remember right.

You guessed wrong buddy. I have a LLC S corp. The kind that you have to pay for. Not that free crap that I have read about on here. I have filed taxes with the IRS for the past 3 years under the same info I gave amazon. I know how to do taxes, but amazon's system is not taking my information. I just want to know how long, if at all will amazon keep sending me the automatic email before they suspend my account for good. If you do not have the answer then just keep it moving as you are speaking on my tax info that you have no clue what you are talking about.

If the info matches exactly (address, number, business name, EIN) then it is an almost instant approval based on my experiences.

What you are saying is that the millions of other sellers somehow magically worked and yours has not. That just is not the case.

How it works is Amazon asks the IRS if your information is correct. If anything at all is not exactly accurate then the IRS will say NO. It is just a YES or NO answer the IRS gives. It does not show any info. Hope this helps.

I paid for my LLC paperwork too, not aware of anyone that does them for free. Depends on your state of course, so you should consult a tax professional and not us.

This may not be relevant BUT I put my EIN from the same type LLC as the poster mentioned and it kept coming back that it was not valid til I remembered that the LLC is registered at my HOME address not the stealth address (as the LLC came first before the stealth stuff kinda like the chicken and the egg perhaps?) so once I corrected that address all was well.

My Amazon isn't stealth but it is under one of my LLCs.

I also had to match addresses when doing my LLC info here in WA state.
