RAS Async Adapter
 

I am at the spoof your MAC address stage.... for the past 2 hours i have been trying to disable all my current network adapters which has been sucessful but i am having alot of trouble trying to disable (well i have no option to disable just delete) the RAS Async Adapter which for some reason it is not letting me do.

Has anyone else experianced this or does anyone have a solution to get around this?

Are you running an older version of XP? What OS are you using?

You don't need to change your MAC address.

Why not? It's one of the steps in Ghost right??

It is a suggestion that users do this.

However, you can take other options.

Not sure about you,wizzkid', but I am kinda techincally challenged.

Instead of changing mac address I made other choices.

You can do the same. Do you want to go that way?

i know there are other ways i could go but this was my preferrd methond. I was up until 5am this morning with this and now i cant rest until i get to the bottom of it!!:fight:

I'm not the best when it comes to this sort of thing but i no basic stuff.

A lot of the steps are quite outdated now. Amazon CANNOT check your mac address. I run several accounts on one laptop for a number of years and not had any issues. Just search previous posts and you will see.

Many posts disclaiming this MAC issue. Other steps are still valid.

I struggled with this procedure when running windows/microsoft.

Got a dongle & switched to APPLE.

Ok thanks for the advice, do you run multiple account from the same mac? If you do am assuming you have a different dongle for each account?
