New user account enough?
 

I have read ebay stealth but my Amazon Ghost may be outdated. I understand in order to stealth my computer for ebay that creating a new user account and fresh ip is enough. Is this also good enough for Amazon or should I just invest in a new computer?

Firstly have you read Amazon Ghost and I mean thoroughly. If you haven't go back and read it carefully. Amazon link accounts in more ways than you can imagine they go much further than Ebay. You don't need a new computer a new user account is sufficient enough. However you need to change your IP, disable your flash cookies, download technitium MAC address changer to change your MAC address and change your browser

As above, read the forums and understand what you up against. However forget Mac this is now not relevant.

Don't need a new computer but you should make this computer look "fresh" to Amazon

@ Micky H your right about mac address I can't see how amazon can access this however was stated in the ghost guide

I think you have to do more, I've heard some say you need a virtual server or mi fi dongle. Not sure though. It seems more in depth on Amazon than it is on ebay. You almost have to have a separate PC for different accounts on Amazon it seems.

The identifying factor for Amazon is your ip, no need to buy a new computer, but make sure cookies and ips are kept within each account separate from other accounts.

That's no different than eBay.

So what's the big deal about Amazon, there has to be more to it than that!

I read on here that just using separate user accounts aren't enough on Amazon and that their tracking methods go a little further than ebay.

Amazon tracks in a lot more detail to eBay.

There is a lot more to it than just cookies and IP addresses. Even eBay tracks deeper than that.
