Will Amazon U.S account linked to Amazon Canada account?
 

Hi guys, I plan to open an amazon ca account, my amazon u.s account got suspended. Can I still use the same information open the Canada account? Will they be linked? If I got everything goes through and sold some items and paid(say I put my U.S bank account). Will that be Canadian Dollars or U.S dollars? I heard exchange rate is terrible. Thank you very much!

Posts have indicated that the platforms operate separately of each other so info could be reused. It is in Canadian dollars

NO No no, USA and Canada share, Japan is alone and EU is alone

Amazon US and canada are related.the account will not work.dont make that mistake.Amazon US and EU are not related so if one gets suspended the other will still run independently but US and .ca are related theyll suspend it for linkage.
I would recommend going through the stealth guide .that way you can make a canadian and US accounts with stealth

plus you cant reuse the banking details as well between .com and .ca it will link you as well.no issue with banking in terms of eu and us accounts

if you have amazon us and bring funds into Canadian banks the rate is approx 1usd = 1.09 cad (subject to change).but thats still lower than the market rate.same vice versa the rate will not be that competitive

Thank you so much for your suggestions! I really appreciate it! It's too bad that I can't use my old U.S information again. It's going to cost me more to prepare another account... But at least I won't get my fund blocked for another 3 months.
I actually bought both stealth guide for Ebay and Amazon, but I didn't register the other one.

Have people found that it's worth setting up a separate account on amazon.ca to amazon.com? I get lots of sales from Canadian addresses on amazon.com, so is it worth having a separate account?

I am saying from experience.

My USA account got suspended, the next day all my EU accounts were blocked for linked accounts. However, months on and my CA account is still going strong. It has not been linked.

So from my experience, US and CA do not share, but US and EU do share. It may have been a coincidence, but the suspension was for a linked account in EU so that could be the only explanation.
At the time, I did not have any other accounts as I only came across this forum after suspension. So it could not have been linked to anything else.

It was around 3 months and 2 weeks ago because I just got my funds disbursed to my account 2 weeks ago... Finally.
So not long ago at all.
I was surprised my CA account wasn't taken down as all my other accounts went straight away. CA is still going strong and fortunately, I cam across this forum after which helped me get back online.
Amazon hold the funds for 90 days after suspension.
Yes. I trade on these platforms, UK, DE, ES, IT, FR, CA and US.

I lost my US account which had the same details, name, address, bank etc. as my UK/Eu accounts and they weren't linked by Amazon, and they sold the exact same products with identical listings.

Amazon Canada does not have great traffic so just a heads up
