Opening amazon with credit card
 

I have been looking through the forum and still am unclear as to what is best to use to open my professional seller account on amazon. Some have said a Vanilla Visa card is best to use.

Any suggestions? I think I can use any address I want when I buy this card correct? Do I have to keep money on it in case amazon does a charge check?

This may be slightly different from UK Amz, but the best way is to use a card like Mastercard, prepaid from a supermarket, etc...

Make sure that the card you buy enables you to register any details, as I take it this will be a stealth account.

Always make sure that there is funds on the card as Amz always check the card on a non-regular basis to try and catch you off guard.

But do not worry, the amounts they check are always low, so keeping approximately 30 USD on the card at all times is essential.

Personally, I have never seen more than a 1 GBP check in the UK, but you need to make sure, so more funds on the card the better...

outstanding response, thank you ebay King. Is there anyone that can verify that this is true of Amazon US. Is the Mastercard prepaid the best to use in the US?
