What percentage of buyers leave feedback on Amazon?

I am just curious what your experience is, I am new to the Amazon platform. I am sure it is very low as I have heard. For eBay it it has been 55-65% for me over the years. Was just curious what your experience is. I have heard it is like 5-10%.

Yes, that is about right. The feedback on Amz is not 100% crucial, as many have had successful accounts with limited feedbacks.

I've sold a small amount on Amazon and even though everyone has been happy with their orders, only one of them has left feedback. It's like pulling teeth to get Amazon buyers to leave feedback.

3-5% in my HONEST 5 years experience on amazon opinion.

the only customers that die to leave u feedback on amazon are the ones leaving neutral or negative feedback which both hurt your overall percentage

Yes! your right it maybe 15-20%, but it does not contribute to a healthy acct! its great to have good feedback for buyers, buyers do check on your feedback's. 20-30% if you ask for it with a note. Less than 10% if you leave it alone. And remember that this is with Amazon sending them emails and pestering them to leave feedback.

I feel that it depends on the type of merchandise you are selling. I feel that people tend to leave feedback more often for toys & games or video games, as opposed to say office equipment. Books can have a decent feedback ratio as well. Basically, the more "personal" or for "personal use" an item is, the higher likelihood you have for getting feedbacks; this is in my experience.

Overall, I would expect up to 5% if you don't solicit feedback requests. If you solicit them well, probably 10%. Higher if the item is personal.

When I started including a note and emails it jumped to about 25% as opposed to less than 10%

Thanks to everyone who said include a note. Even though I have been selling on eBay for nearly a decade I a new to selling on Amazon. All the advice really helps. Clearly the platforms are very different.
