I just had this happen to an item and a bit worried...
Got an email from Amazon saying some items were mislabeled on my part and they relabeled some items. I said ok, how do I access the new inventory now?
Thats when they volunteered the information that a customer said they received the wrong item. I looked up the order and the order was reimbursed by fba.
My supplier sent some mixed items, same packaging, model number BUT UPC. I could not figure out the difference, so I just labeled them all the same. Over 30 sold on ebay and not a single return or complaint! I finally contacted the manufacturer today who said the difference was one item was a glossy black and the other was a flat black. I never even knew they made both finishes, I bet most customers didnt know either!
The reason I am worried is because this "return" was never returned to me, but instead reimbursed. Why? The item is legit but what are they doing or need to do with it?
Other then that all they did was relabel 2 out of 8 items for me and put them into a listing that is deep in Amazon. I'll just put them on ebay.
