I have found a company that sells buyer reviews on Amazon. i am not sure how it works but I am told they are actual reviews as if they buy the product as a customer (not product reviews). Anybody on here know the pitfalls in this and how it might come back to bight me in the ass. Or are they legit?

Why bother, just chase you customers for feedback. Feedback is not as important as it used to be as long as they are3,4,5. You don't want negatives.The important one in keeping all the metrics with green ticks.
Many methods exist - the fiverr way and the feedback service are but a few. I prefer trying to get buyers to leave feedback but it is tough. Decision is ultimately yours OP.
