Using FBA to fufill seller fulfilled orders

I have been sending everything to Amazon FBA. However, I will list as seller fulfilled to get more exposure on the listing. When someone places the order I create a fulfillment order through the inventory I have at FBA.

With the new shipping requirements I believe that you do not have to give a tracking number for economy shipping so I have not been entering in the tracking. After I place the fulfillment order to satisfy the seller fulfilled sale I have been entering the tracking number. I'm wondering if I am violating Amazon policy and I shouldn't do this?

yes, 2 same tracking number should be problem.

So I leave N/A for the tracking information, and I exchange first/ last name in the second order. I'm not sure it's helpful, but that's what can I do

I didn't even think about them tying them together through name and address

You realise you are paying double seller fees....

I have done this a few times for other reasons but generally keep inmind a customer might do merchant fullfilled for specific reasons so you could be upsetting a customer if they get an amazon box show up.

Actually I'm not because the fees are based on weight and packing. It's about another $1 per item over the cost of what it would cost me to ship.

I've had complaints the other way around where people thought they were buying from Amazon
