New shipping requirements

I just want to make sure I am reading the new shipping requirements correctly.

If it is economy shipping Amazon does not require you to enter a tracking number and there is no metric for this that will suspend your account?

Re: New shipping requirements

From my understanding all orders need a tracking number, otherwise you take a small hit on the metric.

Thats correct, I never enter tracking numbers. I have the tracking number obviously if needed for a customer. My opinion tracking numbers can create a link if amazon have the technology.

Re: New shipping requirements

I have sold thousands of items with no tracking number and have only had a few complaints that people haven't received there item so I just refunded them or sent a replacement. I saved thousands of dollars for not having to buy tracking.

I leave all my Customers Tracking details ! Never had no issues regards leaving tracking numbers as long as the courier company you have registered with has the same email address as the Stealth account you set up ! your fine.

Micky you're paranoid LOL. What kind of link do you think is being created when you do tracking?

Not paranoid at all, the more information amazon have the greater the chance of linking. Look at JeffW, account suspended due to shipping. Amazon is changing all the time and there IT is getting more sophisticated. Shipping shows where the goods originated, if this does not match your address with a stealth account it will raise a flag. The less information given IMO the better, thats all. Remember Amazon is beast changing it's coat all the time.

Well I just figure as long as it's the same general area, they are not going to can you for that. After all, not every zip code has a post office. If you're printing labels in a zip code 500 miles away from where you drop off, then I agree there might be a problem there.

Confidence in what, your systems or your delivery company? Anyway even if you have tracking and provide POD in an A-Z case you usually lose as the customer says its not there signature.
