Does TeamViewer still works?
 

Hello Everybody!

Please advise if I can use Teamviewer to access remotely from used before pc?

I know from previous threads that it was ok ( last info on forum dated June 2014). But now I have doubts.

As I have created remotely legit account with real details, but its pending verification more that 3 weeks. There are couple of emails from seller-verification team "rest assured, we have your info....if need anything else we will let you know".

So the only thing I can think of its a TeamViewer that caused link to old account possibly??

Amazon sees the IP address of the computer you are remotely accessing.

So when I use Team viewer to access remote pc from home pc that has a banned IP, Amazon sees this? ... and link i suppose?

May I have confirmation from previous members who confirmed that it works fine now?

Amazon see the host computer IP, not the remote computer in front of you.

Where you operating thinking that it was using the IP of the computer/tablet you were operating from?

I was operating it and thinking that is uses IP of remote machine "B" (locate away from me). And as far as answers here it works this way. Isn't it?

Can anyone suggest based on tech knowledge the way team viewer works:

Can Amazon develop way to see IP of "main" machine A that controlling other remote machine "B"?

Maybe use of Logs etc...?

What reasons do you have to ask this?

Is the new account OK or have you had problems?

There is really no way of Amazon seeing the IP of the main machine A that is teamviewing machine B that I can think of
