Entering Social Security Number??

When Amazon forces you to enter a Social Security number do they do a review then? They made us enter a Social on Monday and our account is still up and running. Just wondering if it is a good thing or if one has nothing to do with the other.

They also factor in anticapted sales. Say you get 75 sales in one month, you could get hit with with that soft limit. Your rolling the dice when you do that. If you don't like elmono said when you get near 200/20k they ask you to provide the s.s/ein...
