disbursement initated + accont suspeneded
 

My disbursement started at 3 pm .. at 9 PM my account was suspended (not deleted).

In past I have seen that if your account gets suspended within 24-48 hours of your disbursement, your disbursement usually bounce back to amazon and sit there for 90 days.

I don't see those funds back to my Amazon account, which means the transfer was completed from Amazon end before my suspension ? I thought it usually takes longer then that, some one have recent experience with this ?

Have you got the message above your payment page saying the money has been disbursed to account number ***********1234. If so the cash is on its way but can be recalled.

Yes I did get email around 3pm (your payment on its way) and then around 9PM account was suspended. I have seen this happen before BUT disbursed amount right away gets recalled and you can see in in your balance... but I don't see that amount in my account back yet...

you may get the money depending on how old the account is and its standing prior to being suspended. Ive had a similar situation to yours and the money went into my account no issues from amazon.

I did not say e mail, look at your disbursement page in SellerCentral. At the top of the screen it will confirm the money has been sent to your bank.

Yes if I go into seller center i see amount and it says initiated ...

Then you should be Ok, just empty the money when it arrives and make sure you have no overdraft on the account

Thanks ... ill make sure I do that.. ill keep an eye on the bank account..

If you're worried about dipping into the account, can always 1) disable overdraft 2) make it deposit only - no withdrawals

i would highly doubt amazon would ever "dip in" and try to take the money out. Unless there was some serious fraud being committed by the user.

Amz have been known for dipping whenever they like.

Never happened to me, but I have seen enough information on this forum to know that the money should be moved instantly when it arrives at the bank. It is a principle I have lived by for over 10 years...

I am of the same opinion when I dont want an account accessed.

If you owe amazon money they will first try to charge the CC on file and if unsuccessful will try to debit your bank account. Amazon can also try to reverse a disbursement on the day the money hits your account.

I've heard about amazon/paypal debiting your checking/savings account for negative balances but I've never experienced this. To my understanding they can't withdraw the funds with names that don't match?

They can withdraw as per the same agreement you "digitally signed" when you added the bank for deposit
