Amazon asking for UTR number & date started.

Amazon have just reinstated me but they have changed me to sole proprietor.

They are asking for my UTR (unique taxpayer reference) number and date company was started.

Is there any way around this?

UTR number cannot be validated by Amazon or PayPal.

Provide them what they need.

No, think you have missed my point.

They CANNOT validate it so using a falsified UTR is possible......:mod:

Just to clarify though... amazon ask for a copy of the UTR document before account approval as far as i'm aware?

Hi, i have the same problem here.
However, i am based in Ireland which i never see UTR letter before, can anyone show me how it look like?

Amazon is asking for a copy of the letter as a proof of UTR but i never see the letter before.

Can anyone show me how it's look like?
