Very confused about MAC addresses!
 

I have been review the guide here a lot lately. I get 95% but I want to make sure I do everything right here. I really do not want to be banned again..

I see there are two options for the MAC addresses resolutions. I am going to be tethering the account through my cell phone. Can someone explain the two MAC options? What is essentially the easiest option? I keep reading it but its just seeming like Im looking at Mandarin.

Will I 100% be banned without this step?

Whatever device you use to connect to the internet will have a unique MAC address.

I thought I had heard or read that before that the Mac Addresses are no longer an issue. So this is nothing to be concerned with?

That is correct in regard to MAC addys only.
