Amazon sends account into "New Seller Review" after first sale
 

I have determined that new amazon accounts go into a silent new seller review AFTER the first item is sold.

You might wonder why the "Congrats on selling your first product" comes in at random times days after the first sale, that is because i strongly believe after the first sale it goes into an initial review. From there, you get a pass or fail based off risk. If the account fails you STILL get the "congrats on selling your product" exactly the next day after the suspension (everytime). Probably a system glitch that is schedule to send the email out after the initial review. The initial review is taking anywhere from 1-2 days after the first sale right now.

So just a heads up! Look risk free for the first sale/review period! Happy holidays!

they just kept back equivalent of 2 weeks sales on my Amazon account that is in my real details, after I got sidetracked by too busy ebay account that went on to get permanent ban, the neglected Amazon just carried on although I had been late replying to 2 messages and issuing a refund, which impacted on my seller ratings, so I got a rolling reserve which in my case meant they held on to the equivalent of 2 weeks funds, then I ran out the around the home things I had been selling on there and was too close to Christmas to restock, now the seller ratings have crept back up to a better figure ready for using again after new year and the funds are out of it now

Absolutely Micky and I hold my hands up to that that I let things drift on my Amazon account because of how busy my ebay suddenly got, I wasn't really concentrating enough on Amazon, the ebay is gone now so I have concentrated more on the Amazon again and finally got around to realising the differences properly between the 2 platforms, at least I didn't get suspended by Amazon and can still list on it which considering it is in my real details is really useful not least because of how uncertain things are on Ebay at the moment!
