Adding bank account
 

How are stealthers adding bank accounts? It seems they now ask for a DL number when trying to add a bank account . I have an LLC and opened an Amazon account under it. But what can i do about the DL number?

Not sure what you mean by that? What other type of account can i open? i opened it under my business name.... And here's a pic

i just went to a new stealth that doesn't have a bank account yet and it wasn't asking me to enter a DL. What type of account did you try to open? US?

I make a bunch of amazon accounts daily, none of them ask for DL

Might be a requirement if adding an LLC. This is usually also a requirement for UK accounts I think.

I just checked and i actually haven't opened a business account, If i click on the business account option it asks for EIN (which i haven't provided) . Its just under the business name , its still just a standard account, Which i can change the name. But i dont think that will avoid the DL issue. Any other ideas?

If i add my DL number, will they be able to verify who i am? meaning my name and address?

Could i someone elses drivers license number? Someone not living with me.... will they be able to verify that?

Update: I did a search on this forum and i found someone who used a site like this US SSN / Driver License / State ID / Tax ID Generator - ElfQrin.com to generate a DL number for the state hes in, He said it worked for him. Since im in CA i had to google this one. It seems to have worked. I just added a generated DL number it gave me , It uses the same algorithm for the state you're in . Ill leave the site here for those that might run into the same problem. Thanks

So weird that you were asked for one. I'm in CA too and have done tons of business accounts

I have no idea either, it seems its rare, But everytime i go to method of payment , even from the shopping cart screen it asks for the DL

Keep us updated about the drivers license issue! That is very strange.

Just the idea of using a DL generator for this makes me sweat a little.. Luckily you're the only one to have ever been asked to input a DL and no one else can confirm this to be a required piece of info. Good luck chosen one!

It may of been because i used a business name instead of my name when i signed up. I also used a suite number in my address (its because its a postal annex box) So that may of triggered it.

Why are they asking for a DL #? Can they verify this on public records?

Like i said its prob because i didn't use a name when i signed up, I used a business name....

Yeah most likely that is what triggered it. I never seen it request an ID for a personal stealth account.

Something strange though, I've added my bank account yet it doesnt let me use as a method of payment. Only the entropay visa i used. I called and was told i needed to have a completed purchase with the visa i entered before im allowed to use bank account. But weird thing is that when i tried to change the payment method on a preorder i have on a video game, It asked me to add the bank account as if i had never added it. Strange

well your doing something unorthodox because this is not suppose to happen. I have done a dozen of stealth's this holiday season with no problem like this. Read it and follow it

An LLC can not have a drivers license, lol It is not a person.
