What Address do I use on the LLC?

Ok I think this is the last question before I take the plunge. When setting up my LLC with the state, can I use my home address (the address that is on file with amazon and connected to the banned account)

Or Do I use the UPS address I am going to set up.

Im talking about the address that is going to be on file with the state for my llc. Im not sure if amazon would have access to this information.

This is an interesting situation.
Amazon will ask the IRS if the name matches exactly and it is YES or NO, nothing about the address. With that being said, if I or Amazon wanted to look up the details of your LLC in a couple minutes or less we can find all the details such as address.

I personally do not reuses addresses but in theory it makes little difference because by the time you did something to cause amazon to want to investigate your LLC, you would be already suspended.

Hmm so I guess to be safe you would use a ups address to file with the state?

That is my rule of thumb. Also I like being incognito.

What other kind of addresses you use yankee? I know with my state at least it can't be a PO Box has to be a real street address, so that limits to mom and pop mailboxes and UPS addresses

Just set up a ups address but on the ups mailbox application I used all of my real information name, home address etc. Is this a problem?

Does the USPS offer mail boxes similar to the UPS box options that you use?

Re: What Address do I use on the LLC?

For the majority of my WY companies, I use a mail forwarding service. That address may hold thousands of businesses.

Example of a service is this. I am not recommending this company at all. I am saying this is the type of service I use.
Details on Wyoming Incorporation and the Advantages over a Nevada Corporation | We can help a business form a Wyoming LLC or Wyoming Corporation.

If I was going to use an address for my in state companies I would use my CPA or Attorney office but UPS store or similar will work.

For all intensive purposes of this thread, Yes.

Techincally USPS does offer this service.

I have made use of it for WA state and East Coast state accounts.

However, the issue is that the local Post Master may deny a customer the right to using this.

This was confirmed especially for Florida.

Suggest asking your local Post Office if interested.

Thanks for the link, reading through it quickly seems like the Close LLC is a good option for our purposes. Any reason for using these types of companies instead of doing it ourselves on the state website if we are out of state? If it isn't too complicated

None at all.
These type of companies have great forwarding services, but no need to use them at all if you don't want to. We all know how to get addresses etc...

Now if you truly want to be incognito or have reasons to be, a company like this for a few grand can be exceedingly helpful, especially in WY. Or if you are looking to raise capital, this company has options.

This site has EXCELLENT info and offers services that are useful but not at all needed for filing an S-corp or LLC.

Re: What Address do I use on the LLC?

Perfect thanks, yeah I just need a simple LLC for out PayPal purpose. Now to run the numbers to see if paying for the mail forwarding plus LLC fees there still comes out cheaper than in my state fees for the LLC, it's $125 to setup and around $150 yearly in my state, plus virtual address cost

Re: What Address do I use on the LLC?

add it state tax and other advantages too.

Re: What Address do I use on the LLC?

Yeah no state tax on my state either just like in WY so that's good, but I like that LLC members don't have to be public in WY that's some nice privacy

I live in one of the highest taxes states. You are luck to be in one of the seven states with no state income tax.

Yeah that's a huge plus for corporations. It can make or break a company just that alone
