When I register for a EIN on the IRS website which address do I put?

Do I put my home address or my registered agent address? if I put my address can amazon link me by using my EIN to find out my home address?

Re: When I register for a EIN on the IRS website which address do I put?

I am surprised no one has answered this question. Seems like many of the questions don't get answered on this forum, which is surprising.

I have limited knowledge on this, however, conventional logic would tell me that its better to use brand new business address for the corporation (LLC, or whatever entity you are setting up), and use the same address as a mailing address and registered agent address. I highly doubt that Amazon verifies and checks the Registered Agent address in attempt to link that to a previous account, but why chance it? Only downside to this that I can see is possibly receiving any correspondence from the state regarding your new company, that goes to that address, in case you don't have access to that address.

Someone correct me if I am wrong?
