Funds released after suspension
 

Has anyone ever heard of this?

My account was suspended in late november, I was selling like crazy and i got a velocity review, I passed that review, but next day I was suspended for possible copyright violations ( I had 2 such complaints over 5000 transactions).

The suspension was a "soft one", they gave me a chance to submit invoices to prove my items are legit. I still have not submitted invoices and my account remains suspended....BUT...on the second payment transfer date following my suspension, they released my funds!

I was prepared to wait 90 days, but I had my full balance in my bank after 3 weeks , the sum was not small 19,000$. I actually think Amazon.ca screwed up.


Presently I have a negative balance of around 300$, from the Christmas return season, it could have been more, but I shipped every outstanding order, even after the suspension.

Has anyone heard of this happening? I am not a newbie, been selling for 10 years, and have been suspended numerous times. I always had to wait 90 days, I've had only one account deleted, so fairly lucky so far.

happened to me last year. when your account is in good standing without major issues it seems amazon gives u the benefit of the doubt from your account status and just release funds early.

Wow, I sure hope they do this with my account. I just got the dreaded "our decision is final" response, and now waiting on the 90 days. Huge amount of money, really scary! Hope I can get the FBA inventory back, reading some scary stuff here regarding FBA inventory being gone. Do you know if the 90 days starts counting from initial date of suspension, or from final response to appeals?
