Using a Linux Boot Disk to run a new Amazon Account?

Would this work? Say for example I use a Linux boot disk and load the OS from the disk. Will that avoid the needing to wipe out my computer clean?

Of course the changing IP address would still be in place. I hope I was able to explain myself clearly.:yar:

What I mean was use amazon without actually installing Linux. Just by using the Try ubuntu button, and using Ubuntu from the CD.
