Seller with no feedback winning buy box?

I have just come across a listing where a seller is winning the buy box despite not having any feedback and also despite 13 other sellers on the listing, some with more than 1,000 feedback?

Can anyone explain this?

They did not create the product page either

im lowest price for everything i sell and dont get the buy box yet i have more than 20 feedback, selling on the same listing as this other seller who has 0 feedback?!

So the end conclusion is that the other seller is better than you - just saying. Tough to judge since we dont even know the category, the product, etc.

all of the above play a role in determining who gets the buy box

Metrics IMO puts you in the #1 box.

Its hard to tell though. I have about 10 actively selling accounts and half of them have the box. They're all the lowest items and all the accounts are 100% perfect.

what gets you buy box..

category sales and 3 months as a seller. 0 feedback doesn't necessarily mean seller hasn't been a seller long just means no one left feedback.

Or is seller FBA? auto buy box with fba

Price and shipping cost/time has an impact in the buy box

Im not really sure how that is when so far my metrics are 100 with 100% positive feedback.
