Can amazon/ebay see my partner in a jointed bank?
 

My account was banned for being linked to another banned account. I have a bank account jointed with someone who has been banned. This bank was attached to my amazon account before he was jointed with me and I only supplied amazon with my information. I never had issues before and as soon as we jointed account (banned person never used that bank before either) I was banned two days later. Maybe its just coincidence but I just want to make sure that they cant tie me to another person because of me being jointed with someone.

I don't know about Amazon but I know eBay can link to another eBay account that has been banned, that caused me to lose one of my old eBay accounts, thinking about it I would think Amazon who are even keener on linking than eBay, probably would find a link in a situation like yours.

Even if they can some how use my routing and account number for my bank to see all the people on the account. A name by itself shouldnt be grounds for banning since many people can have the same name. Sure a bank also has our social security numbers. But how can amazon and ebay possibly be allowed access to a banks social security numbers for its customers...

Bank will not share the bank accounts owner (single or joint) name with PayPal, eBay or Amazon.

If only the OP's actual question was about SELLER ACCOUNT linking.. but it is not..

BUT ebay can not see the name on the bank account. PAYPAL touches the bank account not ebay.

It was the, Account is related to a seller account that was closed by amazon, ban message. I may have slipped up and somehow and forgot to use my VPN or something.

I just want to make sure though that in the future using a jointed bank account with a banned person does not cause an account to be banned.

Nope. This was a completely new bank account only used for that one amazon account. Banned member information was never given to amazon.

well then you were linked some other way..

Dont use VPN! There are more trouble than than anything.
Firewalls can detect when you use a VPN.
