TAX interview as i am non US?
 

hello. im planning to open some amazon stores. I have just finished reading amazon ghost guide book. and there were nothing written about TAX interview. but in forum i saw that people are sometimes being asked to complete tax interview, which is complete mistery for me.

if i am not US resident (im from europe) will i be asked to complete tax interview? and if yes where to get required certificates, as i dont have registered any business, and runing many stealth accounts with non-existent names ?

i would really appreciate help on this topic, because its really dark for me at the moment :/

Fresharmor, Once you hit 200/20K sales on PayPal, you would need to supply your SS number or EIN ( Employ identification Number) which is given yo you when you register your business on PP. I do not know the precise rules of your country but here in the U.S you have to supply your SS # or EIN when you reach 200/20K thresh hold on PP. But it is highly noted not to supply your SS # to PayPal here in the U.S ( for stealth reasons.)

Ignore all the above, once you complete the application you will asked to do the tax interview. Just answer all the questions, as you are not a US Citizen its very straight forward.

alright,thanks for advise. one more question comes to my head. will i be able to sell to .com amazon if i'm not going to provide any US stuff (EIN,SSN.etc.) ?

I sell on Amazon.com as Canadian and I dont need to supply anything at all. When you go through Tax interview at most they will ask for your address and legal name.

Yes you can sell on amazon.com. Your income is in your home country where tax is payable. This is why you fill in the tax interview as a non us citizen.
