What happens if you have a negative balance?
 

I have an account with $-2000 balance from December 2014. What happens down the line with this negative balance? My account seems to be banned but will amazon try and collect? Thanks.

you have tax info on it? if u do i suggest u find a way to pay it i doubt amazon will let 2k slide by. then again u could just wait and see

Rule is: pay what you owe.
They will go after you for sure

OK, firstly they will try and charge your credit card, if unsuccessful then they will try and get funds direct from your bank account. If all this fails they MAY use a collection agency.
Is this a real account or ghost.
I would just wait and see if they came a chase you through a collection agency and then say to the agency you have no money and offer $500 in full settlement. My guess is they will accept it.
Just make sure you have no funds in your bank account.
