Forced to use fba to reinstate account.

I have been selling on Amazon for about two years and recently I had quite a few orders late and received 2 negative feedbacks.

All of my scores are good except late orders.

Amazon suspended my account and in order to reinstate my account they
said I could only use FBA. It could be worse I could of lost my account all together.

Has anybody else had this happen to them? I'm not really interested in using the FBA program but will learn it to get my products out.

Thank you for any kind of response.

Do you have enough turnover for it to be worth your while to use it Frank, always seemed to me it's more for people who do a lot of business on the platform.

FBA is a good/bad scenario. It can increase sales and profit, but your inventory can be mixed in with others. Also, returns are way too easy from the customer end. Any return with FBA will cost you money.

Usually, 2 negs will not get you suspended. FBA gives AZ the ability to inspect your product and block the item if they feel that the item may not be under the right page, upc code, etc.

Re: Forced to use fba to reinstate account.

I really don't have enough product to ship into FBA I only ship out maybe 30 items a week. My ODR rate for the short term is 1.07 and long term is 0.75
Last week I received 2 negative feedbacks and one A-Z that I did not affect me negatively.

My Shipping for the last month went very low for the rate but overall it is at 92% out of 97% for the long term.

When my account was suspended on Thursday they stated my ODR rate was to high yet I have a green box for it. I still replied on a plan of action.

two hours later they stated that my rate for fulfillment of orders was high and thus I created a plan of action for that.

two hours after that they stated that they might reinstate my account If I agree to ship only through FBA. A bit of a stronghold but I agreed to it so I could at least get my cash out for the two weeks and start thinking about how to use the FBA program.

It kind of stinks because majority of my products are electronics. Not going to ship in electronics to Amazon. The second half of my inventory is cosmetics which I have no problem sending in.

I would like to buy an aged Amazon account so I can still sell my electronics and get my revenue back up. Once I have enough revenue I can invest in bulk items and send them into FBA.

Any thoughts,

Thank you for both of your replies.

you should be happy they are giving you a chance to continue selling. send your items to fba then when your metrics are PERFECT after a month or two slowly add merchant fulfilled teams back into your inventory. you should have no issues with that kind of volume so best to use fba

Whatever inventory you have just mail it in, you will see your inventory move a lot quicker and will probably end up seeing how FBA was the best thing for you

A lot of buyers will only shop where they see Amazon Fulfilled, myself included

I would just use fba then. Amazon has a calculator at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/...TF8&lang=en_US.

Id use it and see if its worth your while. Im guessing it will be. You also got lucky. When my amazon account got taken down, there was no negotiating with them. They basically told me to screw off. Ive lost a lot of respect for amazon's seller performance team over the years.

I am one of those who would say email them with a detailed plan to make sure orders are sent on time. However, you might be better off just going through FBA. I haven't used FBA before it might be worth it. Some sellers swear by it, could be a blessing in disguise.

Frank, you are a very lucky man, did amazon say this over the phone or via e mail. This is something I have never heard of happening before. If by e mail can you post it on the forum.

Re: Forced to use fba to reinstate account.

happened with one of my accounts a month ago.Had about 20k and they gave the same option of either reinstatement with only fba or else 90 day suspension.
Once I accepted FBA they reinstated and put the listings on vacation mode but account was reinstated with no block on funds.
if you decide to bring back the listings from vacation mode after that theyll permanently suspend for 90 days after about 12 hours of restoring merchant fulfilled listings .lol

best is to either do fba on that account or else get it reinstated and then take your scheduled disbursement (which would otherwise have been stuck for 90 days)
