Opening bank accounts for non-usa sellers on Amazon
 

Hey,

Anyone have suggestions, solutions for non-usa selllers for opening bank accounts? Because Amazon only allow bank accounts in selected countries. And as a non-usa citizen, it's not easy to just open a bank account online. Anyone can provide your method in opening multiple bank accounts for all your stealth Amazon accounts?

I have both Payoneer and Worldfirst, but they only allow one account per user. So I need a few other options. Any one?

For Payoneer, you may need to think outside the box....

I havent worked with Worldfirst.

Most US banks won't open accounts unless you physically come here. And be prepared to be asked a LOT of questions! Ever since the Patriot Act was passed after 9/11, banking has become very strict here.

As a US citizen living in the US, I can have as many bank accounts as I want to, but the banks MUST get a SSN from each customer, take steps to verify identity, report any suspicious transactions, as well as any cash or bearer instrument transactions over $10,000.

There may be services that acquire US bank accounts for others, probably through lawyers. In most cases, that is how people from the US often open bank accounts in other countries. I don't know of any, however.

Get on a plane to HK, not to far and open an account. If you have a good relationship with bank in Singapore they should be able to open a US bank account or HK bank account for you.
Jeff, I am a non US citizen but BOA open accounts very easy within the US. Just pop into a branch with a passport and foreign CC. 15 mins

Yes, but that means you have to physically go somewhere. A passport number will usually suffice when opening bank accounts here, but most banks require that you physically BE HERE at the time the account is opened. Maybe HK is an option for the OP.

Yes, I am thinking of HK too, because it is the only asia country near me that I can go to easily. But, I have a question. Does the banks in HK required the name and account number to be the same when deposits come from Amazon? I am sure with stealth accounts, we are using "⊗⊗⊗⊗ names" on our Amazon accounts, but on our HK bank accounts, we have our REAL names there.

In HongKong, non-US citizen can open an US bank account?

You could google for offshore banking, if I am not mistaken you can open bank accounts in HK without being there. Some of the countries that are accepted by Amazon for deposit do allow that too.

Another option would be taking a plain ticket to Bangkok and buy several IDs for your Payoneer accounts :)

My Spanish worker is non US citizen and he opens a bank account with wells fargo with a Mexico ID and I connect an amazon account to his savings so I can pay him without me coming out of my pocket. LOL.

Does your Spanish worker with Mexico ID have a SSN? Just wondering because my Burmese farmer would like to open one too :0

The name on that amazon accounts is of the spanish worker ? or you're just 'mismatching' the name on "deposit account"
