Protect your amazon listing from other sellers?
 

I'm sure someone here has dealt with this issue before.

Hypothetically, let's say you have either a registered or unregistered trademark (® or TM) for your products.

You have several listings that start to sell really well.

Then, all of a sudden other sellers start to come on your listing and start offering "YOUR" product (due to the high sales rank) and start scooping up all the sales.

How can one make amazon block the other sellers from selling on your listings?

You can provide amazon your TM ownership certificate and prove it that its your only. They will kick others out. Just like zumba or p90 X did.

A TM doesn't protect you. Anyone can put a TM on their brand name, it literally mean you have a brand name that is NOT officially registered (that's all) LOL... But if you have a registered trademark, you can report to Amazon and show proof that you are the brand owner and thus you can blocked these sellers. Because you are the trademark owner. :)

But, even though you do not officially trademarked your brand name yet, you can still blocked and prevent people from selling your product. Just proceed with brand registry with Amazon, this will give you authority to control your brand name on Amazon. It's a trick not a lot of sellers know. :)

But doesn't this inhibit you from using multiple stealth accounts? Because it seems that if you use brand registry, the brand is linked to one account. And if it gets booted, you'd be done.

one other way. buy a test product using stealth account/friend.

report that the item is ⊗⊗⊗⊗/not as described. wait for amazon to take action against that seller.

of course the expensive way is to register your brand, EIN etc.

If brand registry with Amazon is not an option.

You could start with sending the seller a note, telling him to get off from your listing. Tell him in a nice way to immediately remove the item if he is not a official re-seller of the brand (even is you did not register that brand). If its a new seller you might be able to scare him and say that you will report him if the item is not removed.

This did happened to me when I did hijack someones listing and I did it to a someone who did hijack mine. It worked.

Maybe would be good if you own the UPC of those products and have them on your own branded website, in order to give the ownership of your brand some more wight.
