Amazon W-9 Form
 

Hello Everyone,
We are having some trouble with the W-9 Form for Amazon Stealth account just set up this week. We signed up for a EIN under partnership with same address as stealth. Amazon is stating there is no match. We are wondering if its because on the form where it asks for name we are putting in the Business name. Under name is asks for Business name if different from above. We leave blank and submit. The "name" part is required and the business name is optional. For the name I an assuming they are asking for the persons actual name that matches the EIN? However, already have an amazon account under this name. Also, If we sign up for a EIN and select LLC with the IRS, does this mean we have to establish the LLC legally?

It takes a few weeks for the IRS to be updated. As of right now, the IRS is not showing your number at all.

Amazon gives you 30 days but should have lifted any restriction and will allow you to list, sell, etc..

What about the name and electronic signature name? What do we put down as a name? Same as business name? Does it matter what name is signed? Will this affect the match? Do I put my full legal name (already have an account under this name) or name on stealth? Really appreciate your feedback on this one!

leave blank or use business name.

Match is EXACT BUSINESS NAME/EIN to what the IRS has. It takes a few weeks for the IRS to have your info available.
