confirming shipments
 

I was wondering if its bad reconfirming shipments after the item has been delivered. I use stamps.com and sometimes forget to go back and add the tracking #. I was wondering if I should go back adding it or leave it alone. Either way will any of this mess with my sellers metrics?

I don't think it will hurt you to put the tracking numbers in. They come in handy on Amazon, because when your account goes into review (EVERY account gets reviewed eventually, it does NOT mean you are in trouble) they are going to want those tracking numbers. Putting them in late is most likely better, in their eyes, then not putting them in at all.

Now I need to say I have never DONE THIS, so I could be wrong about it not hurting you. My reply is based on my experience in undergoing reviews and also due to the fact that it would not make sense that they would see this as a bad thing.

Be careful , a lot of customers will claim they did not get the item. I had trouble even with tracking sometimes. Even though it said delivered Amazon would answer I could not prove it was not stolen in a mailbox or put on someone else's porch. It was tough sometimes so without tracking , forget it ! I lost money . Several hundreds $$ a month.
