Default New to Amazon - account suspended

Hi Guys

I'm new to Amazon.

I created a seller account entered all the details they requested etc.

Once all done I went to Amazon seller centre and I had an alert at the top of the page saying

"Amazon has suspended your seller account. Please refer to the email from Amazon to lean more about the status of your account"

Like I said its a brand new account never had amazon before so linked to anything. All the info is real (my own)

I have not received any emails from Amazon.

I rand Amazon to see what was going on and funnily enough they have no idea either. They keep telling me to email seller-performance@amazon

Any ideas if this is actually normal upon opining an account?

what bank , credit card vcc? phone did you use and computer access vps VPN VMware etc. You need to list everything to determine what was the problem

As I see from this forum, they don't like certain VCCs. Have you used your real CC?

yes after 2 years on amazon then getting banned..after that nothing but vanilla visa cards

Have you ever bought from amazon in the past?

What type of CC did you use

Has anyone in your household used amazon.

Have you just moved into a property with an existing internet connection.

Has your PC/Laptop ever been used before to access amazon.

The email you have have got is the classic linking one. Something has linked you.

Did you open a buyer account first before opening seller account? From my experience in the past ..my account was suspended for opening seller account first and not having a buyers account .. they suspended me the first day opening it .

This is a very old Amazon account that I used to purchase a few things and never used it after that.

My laptop has never been used for amazon and no one else in the household has Amazon account - is two people in the same house having amazon an issue?

Ive not used the ghost method its a real account.

I used my AMEX card and RBS bank account.

Definitely not normal, maybe give them a call. If you never gotten banned before they may lift it

Send an email from your amazon account email to seller-performance@amazon.com explaining the situation. You should get an answer within 24 hours. You should be Ok if everything you have said on the forum is correct.
