Amazon automatic suspension

Hello everyone, so i've been doing some testing atm and I'm stuck! I can make brand new accounts just fine (new ip, phone and all) but as soon as I add a brand new bank account(savings account from bank of america) it gets suspended for being linked to a previous stealth accont?. Idk if they hate bank of america or not. I used to be able to add saving accounts to the accounts just fine until now. I'm wonder if bank account recycles their account numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

have you tried with different bank? are the account numbers you are using similar as in the first 10 digits or so the same as old one?

I have had this also, changed to checking accounts and all was fine,I actually go to a different branches to open accounts. BOA will not reuse bank account numbers.

Thanks for your help, and i haven't tried using different banks because BOA is very convenient when opening new accounts real fast for me.

I used like 5 saving accounts fine but for some reason I can't anymore. I guess I'll start going with checking accounts. Thanks micky.

What happened OP? Did the checking accounts work?

Curious because I'm also thinking of using BOA.

Bank of America is good for stealth. I have not experienced this issue, but Amazon may be blocking savings accounts. Just use a checking account and you should be fine.

5 accounts... wow. I'm having a bit of time getting
my head wrapped around opening my first stealth account.

I got a few quick questions for you jaypeez in regards to your 5 accounts..

1. Did you register a new business EIN for each account?

2. If so, when you registered for your EIN's - how did you come up with
your addresses. Did you use same one for all 5 or did you create a new one for each EIN?

3. What is your method for choosing new address's for your business EIN's?

4. As far as bank of america... did you apply online for these checking accounts or did you go to your closest BOA and go in and apply for new checking accounts? Did you have to
apply for a business checking account for each of your 5 azon accounts.

5. Finally do you use your EIN and that address to open the checking account?

Thanks

Re: Amazon automatic suspension

So can anyone confirm the following:

Amazon does not like savings accounts for disbursements. Checking accounts are fine, but savings accounts will cause problems.

Is this the case or was this an isolated incident?

So that's 2 members who have confirmed issues with BoA savings accounts on Amazon. I think it's safe to say Amazon does NOT like BoA savings.

Anyone else been suspended due to using a savings account instead of checking on Amazon?

What credit card are you using OP? Could be other steps causing you problems than just bank...

I think you should stop making waves when there is a calm pond.

Up until your arrival, we used to take larger numbers of reports to decide on the suitability or otherwise of something.

This is a preferable approach. There is not even enough info to make the determination on facts supplied.

Keep in mind, we are not war-mongering to work out what works for stealth or what does not.

Thanks.

Grave-digging much?

No one has spoken out that BoA savings account work with Amazon. I think it's good for members to be aware of which accounts cause problems.

To put it another way:
There is evidence that suggests BoA savings accounts cause trouble for Amazon seller accounts. Since there are dozens of banks, there's really no reason for anyone to "test" this theory further, since making stealth Amazon accounts "costs" more than eBay accounts.

My point is this: Until someone speaks up saying that BoA savings has been on their stealth for 3+ months with no issues, we're better safe than sorry. :ranger:

eBay and PayPal account are much much harder for me. Once you know how stealth work, Amazon is more easier and cheaper IMO

Wow really? I suppose working with two accounts makes it a bit more of a hassle, but the impression I got from the forums is that Amazon is much quicker to ban, not to mention much more thorough in checking accounts.

Your thoughts?

Could you share details on how that is? What specifically makes Amazon easier and eBay harder?

I'm finding making eBay stealth accounts quite easy, while Amazon has been a challenge. Perhaps we could swap notes.

Hello, I am here to confirm I did all my details the same, and added a checking account instead. The accounts stayed alive.

Also The cards I was using was american express serve cards. which may or may not cause problems. I have recently switched to vanilla giftcards and checking accounts and my accounts are staying alive a lot longer now.

I don't have any problem create and build up an eBay account. I just said amazon was easy for me :)
