Amazon de needs to do one!
 

10pm last night got my very first Amazon de order email, written entirely in German, managed to google translate what i needed to understand what the order was for. Went to my orders page, the order was there no problem, my payments, nothing there in euro's or from Amazon de!, my buyer percentage box achknowedges the order, my seller dashboard does not!

Joined one of their forums as well and posted what was happening, 3 or 4 replies, including one who said something like, it's Amazon they are not going to do a bunk with your money!, then bit later another commenter pointed out they had 4 or 5 orders overnight with no payments showing and no sales dashboard showing sales either. They had chased it up and Amazon had replied they cannot currently handle international sales!, great, I get my very first overseas order and they can't handle it.

I have had emails from Amazon seller Central Europe toing and froing this morning, with them wanting me to forward the email I got confirming the order details, I had printed off the order details so emailed them copy of that, but soon as I head about them not handling international sales that made everything seem quite a bit clearer.:smash:

Update on this, I just got an email saying I need to switch into the de marketplace and the payment is showing there, also the buyer will need to confirm she has the item, if she does not do that it just remains in pending status until confirmed or cancelled. That is different, they thankfully don't need to do that on Ebay. She didn't mention either anything about international sales problems on the platform.

Note my additional comment there sax4, it seems international sales do not show up on co.uk sales dashboards. To see payments we have to switch to the de site as well.

Have you checked your DE Marketplace? have you seen any sales over there?

Yes this has sorted it out Lucifer, can see it in the de marketplace you are correct, took come sorting out earlier today and getting to the bottom of why the sale did not show in my seller dashboard.

Rosie, for each marketplace you have to use the drop down menu to select the marketplace you wish to view. They all operate the same. I am sure you know how set them all in English rather than the local language. They all operate all the same and your last paragraph is rubbish, whoever told you that. Once you confirm the order the funds are in your account for disbursement.

To rephrase that taking the mick, once despatch is confirmed the payment appears on the my payments page. As I said this was my very first overseas order, so I had no reason to know there was a drop down menu to change which of Amazons sites we need to view. As for who told me about the site having problems with international orders at that time, as I said, it was one of their forum members who replied to my thread.

Yes rsot they emailed me asking me to send them copy of the german language email i received from Amazon de that notified me of the sale and had the order details in it. Anyway i have this morning sent off the order and marked it as despatched on my Amazon account and now the payment is showing up. At no point did the order show up in my seller dashboard, apparently international sales don't show on there, or german ones anyway.

Off course other euro sales platforms won't show up on your UK dashboard. Its 5 selling platforms with one log in, then you need to navigate to the market you wish to view.
