Inventory after 4 months on Stealth Account

Hi. I was banned from Amazon back in the middle of December (4 months ago). I tried a couple stealth accounts, but messed up in one way or another. This time I have successfully made a stealth account. Now it's time to list my old inventory. I have read everywhere that Amazon will watch for similar inventory....however, most people state that this is for 90 days from when the account was suspended. Since I have been suspended for 4 months....am I safe to go ahead and list all of my old inventory?

thanks!

First off, it hasn't been 4 months if you created a couple other stealth accounts and got linked. Believe me, you're still on Amazons radar, and they probably recorded your extra account attempts.

In short, NO. 20% of your inventory should be your old stuff, 80% new. Ignore this advice at your own peril.

this old inventory stuff i think is BS! for the most part.

I make accounts every few months and list the same stuff on all my accounts with no issues. The only time you may encounter a problem is with branded items that amazon deems high risk. Otherwise no problems listings old low risk items from my experience.

There is also a seller i follow who seems to do the same thing i do and has no problems either.

Careful, the herd doesn't like it when you don't drink their kool-aid....

ebay and amazon two different animals. eBay does a lot of checks that amazon doesnt seem to do... BAN/DELETE move on amazons model

I have always left it till the suspended account disburses the money and never had a problem then listing old titles. However if you list your stock automatically make sure the merchant sku is different.

My understanding has been the opposite. Amazon seem MUCH more strict. Can you elaborate?

Welcome tlcnov - all the best.

@GhostofAmazon, Amazon is much more strict and deletions make the platform dangerous for incorrect stealth operations

the worst I've seen with amazon when stealth done properly is velocity limitations or rolling reserve. they don't ask for ID, and all that crap. eBay has all kinds of crap! and limitations and with paypal that just makes another headache i don't like to deal with.

Multiple accounts allows for multiple ways to attack

Amazon doesn't ask for ID ever?

I was talking about the incredible security regarding linking of accounts.

Amazon, from what I've read, is much better at keeping tabs on linking accounts than eBay.

I agree, basically selling roughly the same items on my stealth accounts and so far 4-5 months in, no issues.

Maybe it's the case for people who sell unique stuff, but I personally have 5-10 sellers competing on each item.

In the UK they ask for I.D, but I don't know about elsewhere.

Never been asked for ID on my US or Canadian accounts but my volume isn't crazy-stellar.

@ Gamefreak totally agree with you about the old inventory bs. The inventory has nothing to do with getting linked. Getting linked is down to same IP address etc. They prob have a software system that holds all blacklisted data whenever there's a match it must automatically flag up.

Everybody has there own opinion, but I believe its one area you will be linked especially if you are using the same stock file with the same seller sku.

if you are selling unique items then of course, but if you are selling something that has 5-10 sellers on it you will be OK.

Amazon sees to deem some items way more high risk than others and will simply delete your account or suspend you if u start selling those items especially if your price is way lower than everyone else.

I was testing an account three weeks ago and thats what happen. I list some branded items ( genuine stuff i simply wanted to liquidate inventory ) a little too cheap, sold two of then ( cheap items 30 bucks each ). few hours later i was suspended so i cancelled both items and moved on. Testing another account now with similar items but different method see what happens.

current sales on said account is 2k no limits of anything so far, Been 2 weeks

The key as i said is if done properly you won't have any issues with amazon and its easy to deal with 1 company rather than 2.

Obviously you have not done it properly and got linked.

If you are selling one or 2 products you will not get linked. If you are selling 100+ items and list the same stock you will get linked as no other seller will be selling the same 100 as you, common sense. From my vast experience amazon run a program on linking stock to other accounts weekly or bi-weekly.

So many account get deleted or suspended, as you did!!for listing similar stock, so stop giving out bad information.

It's the new way, Taking '......

a lot of pollution around.

I am still going to stick to this:

amazon look for similarities.

I avoid giving them anything that is similar.

Works for me.

Re: Inventory after 4 months on Stealth Account

What if you had an account that you sold say 6 items, and 2 you want to re-list under the "unique" brand?

Should you create brand new listings with new UPC codes, etc. The brand name would be the same that was listed under the banned account.

Example:

1) You sold a unique branded widget.
2) You sold a phone charger in blue.
3) You sold a unique branded widget carrying case.
4) You sold a unique box under your brand name.
5) You sold a unique plastic box under your brand name.

Account was closed. You want to only move forward with items 4 & 5 and not re-list items 1, 2, & 3 on a new stealth. Is it possible?

Re: Inventory after 4 months on Stealth Account

If the brand is unique to you and only you are selling it you will get linked.

Re: Inventory after 4 months on Stealth Account

What if you open several stealth accounts, list different products on each, but add this unique brand as well? That would be an interesting test because now you are not the only seller and that Manufacturer could have provided Resale rights to several different sellers to now sell for them.

Re: Inventory after 4 months on Stealth Account

I have 3-4 account listing the same item with out any problem. The list is already in Amazon.com and I just them.

3-4 account with different price, The account with more feedback get the higher price.
