The 'Amazon Seller' mobile app

After creating a real name amz account a year and a half ago and having sold some brand name electronics and letting the account chill for 5-6 months and being review free, so far, I went for the seller mobile app on the play store, logged into the app a few months ago, browsed the UI of the app but, never listed an item from it. Just left it on my phone (the same phone and network I use to tether to laptop for the amz account) for when I decide to sell on the account at a later time.

F:bolt:st forward to real time, it looks to be updated and, really convenient. I listed 7 different items in 7 seconds. Sold 2 before logging off!

You can't buy shipping within the app it warns you, asking if you want to open up seller central on your phones mobile browser, (:thumb: Dev!), to complete the order.

I'm going to log off on the mobile app, start tether from the mobile device and log into my account on the PC under the same IP and, buy and print postage to complete the order(s).

risk?

I would all together do away with the mobile app completely there is just too much they can go wrong I think all transactions regardless if it's eBay or Amazon needs to be done from a computer this is by far the safest way!

And as far as the IP address I would try to turn on airplane mode on your device and then turn it back off this will generate a new IP address just to be on the safe side!

mobile apps are not recommended due to security. Way to much information available for their own good.

Okay. More than one account no way I wouldn't use the app. I have my own account single account I've had so we'll see how long it last this way.

Mobile app is bad, okay. This is my own single and only real name account. Regardless though you both are right. My mistake sounding if I was in control of other accts. when I talked about the IP address.

I'll disregard the IP changing though, I'm not running other accounts.

Re: The 'Amazon Seller' mobile app

Like others say stay away from mobiles. Believe it or not I kept getting linked and it was because of logging in with a mobile. Even though I deleted my history I was still linked. Ever since I only used a computer to log in with I have never been linked and have been able to make stealth accounts successfully. Sometimes it's about trial and error and learning from your mistakes and others.
