Ignore people like Micky. I'm not sure what their problem is other than being wrong all the time.

Micky your reaction to this sums you up perfectly. You'd rather be right and have this guy lose 12k than just admit once again you were completely wrong.

And people wonder why I get annoyed at his bad info.

I found it hard to believe myself this morning when I logged in and seen 3 emails from DE, FR and ES for fund disbursements. Delighted isn't the word.
Just waiting on the UK now too.
Well, I can't log into the account and haven't been able to for 3-4 months now so assuming that means it is deleted.
Suspended accounts in the past and I've always been able to log in.
Not sure if the email to Chris North helped, but I'm going to assume it did as his office was the only one to reply to me.

Your email,to chairs North will be what set this up. This was my point about how people with deleted accounts can get the money back if they know the right way to go about it. Anyway, seriously I'm very happy for you.

Good job you didn't listen to those saying the money is gone. Let this be a 12k lesson.

Just over a week after his office replied to me, I received the email to confirm the funds are released. So I am sure that email I sent him had a huge part to play in this.

I would like to thank everyone for their time and replies. Without this forum, I don't think I would have seen my money again.

I have been waiting 5 years for my money.

How would you construct an email. i have all the email proof to Amazon and stuff. I was looking to sue them over this matter.

Any ideas ?

Zaidy I hope the money comes through but you have only had an e mail, not the cash, The email is sent 1 day before cash is released. I hope you get your balance from .co.uk as I would imagine this is where the bulk of your money is. However usually all amazon eu release funds at the same time. I have an email, but funds never got released.

Receiving an email to say funds are released after around 100-110 days of being blocked is a good sign in my eyes. I doubt the email would have been sent so long after the block if they had no intentions of releasing it.
The USA funds (minor amount) hit my bank account 2 days ago and really got my hopes up. Then I got these emails today, so I am sure they will hit the bank by Wednesday. But will let you know.
Yes, you are right, bulk is in UK but at least I got a big chunk of it released today.

Cash is now in the bank and transferred to another account :)

Fingers crossed the UK comes through too, if not, at least I got more than half the cash back :)

So yes, money can be received from a blocked account, and I honestly think emailing Chris North was the reason.

Yes buddy, after updating this forum saying I got the email, cash was in my bank a few days later.
Lower than I was expecting, but that's probably down to customer refunds (which I couldn't see).
At least most of it came back :)
